How It Works

The laser produces laser output at a specific wavelength through excitation by pump light. The housing provides a hermetic cavity for the gain medium and the associated chips; the window allows the pump light and the output laser to pass through, while the pins complete the electrical interconnection. The sealed structure isolates external moisture and contamination, ensuring stable laser output across different ambient temperatures.
