A gas sensor outputs an electrical signal in response to changes in the concentration of the target gas; this signal is usually weak and susceptible to interference. The casing provides hermetic protection for the sensor chip, preventing moisture and dust from affecting detection performance, while the metal body shields against external electromagnetic interference. Infrared sensors realize the infrared optical path through the window of the casing, and the electrical signal is output through the pins to the back-end processing circuit. The hermetic structure ensures long-term stable operation of the sensor.
