The TO18 2+1 semi-circular header sinters the pins and the metal base into one unit through glass-to-metal sealing. The glass insulator provides electrical isolation between pins and between the pins and the base, while forming a hermetic sealing interface. Chips or elements are mounted on the base surface and connected to the pins by bonding wires, with electrical signals transmitted to the outside through the pins. The semi-circular base structure fits specific installation spaces, ensuring reliable packaging of elements in limited spaces.
