Strict quality control:
Fully in-house production with 100% inspection of hermeticity, dimensions and other items.
The ball window cap provides an optical channel for the chip and focuses the light beam. As an optical signal passes through the ball window, the spherical curvature refracts and converges the rays, converting a divergent beam into a convergent beam or a focal spot, thereby improving coupling efficiency with the fiber or receiver. After the metal cap body is welded to the header, a hermetic cavity is formed and the internal chip is electrically connected through the pins. The optical performance of the ball window depends on its radius of curvature and the refractive index of the material, and can be optimized for specific application requirements.
